A 51 year-old Libyan man was found and arrested as part of a nationwide campaign by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that has led to the arrest of 2,400 convicted criminal aliens and immigration fugitives.

In Denver there were 29 arrests, Aurora-13, Commerce City-7, and 29 others across the state of Colorado.

The 51 year-old Libyan man had previously been convicted of 1st degree sexual assault against a child and domestic violence.

“The results of this operation underscore ICE’s ongoing focus on arresting those convicted criminal aliens who prey upon our communities, and tracking down fugitives who game our nation’s immigration system,” said ICE Director John Morton. “This targeted enforcement operation is a direct result of excellent teamwork among law enforcement agencies who share a commitment to protect public safety.”

Dealing with immigration can be a difficult and emotional process. If you or someone you know is dealing with immigration problems, you need an experienced lawyer to help you through this time.

As a former Assistant U.S Attorney, I have had experience in many cases like this. These are very serious charges and this person needs a very good attorney experienced in immigration charges.
