Almost 100 people have either been arrested or are on the run in what is being called the largest drug bust in Colorado history. Federal authorities found over 26,000 grams of cocaine, a pound of methamphetamine, 1,000 grams of crack, 11 weapons including a couple of assault rifles, and over $415,000 in cash.

Using 40 different law enforcement agencies and over 500 state and federal officers, the arrests were made in various cities along the Front Range. Around 30-35 accused are to be prosecuted in the 17th Judicial District. If convicted, these charges have sentences that could range from 10 years to life in jail.

With a drug bust of this magnitude, I’m sure those accused are facing charges that will have a bearing on the rest of their life. It is very important that they seek the counsel of a knowledgeable Denver Federal Drug Crimes Attorney.
